Community Services
Welcome to the Town of Dumfries Department of Community Services. The Community and Cultural Center is located at 17757 Main Street, adjacent to the Town Hall. A variety of programs are hosted at the Center throughout the year. For more information on events contact the Director of Community Services.
Upcoming Programs
- Senior Retiree Group Meetings: The monthly group meetings are held the third Friday of each month at
1:00pm-2:30pm in the Community Center. The purpose of the meeting is to identify and address the needs of our area Seniors & Retirees. This program will pick up in September; all Seniors & Retirees of the community are invited to attend. - English as a Second Language
- Internship Opportunity
- Parenting Class:
Through a partnership with the Prince William County Office of the Virginia Cooperative Extension, Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEM) classes will be offered at the Dumfries Community Center! These classes are geared for parents of children ages six to twelve, and will begin on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 7:00pm. Please click here for more information.
