The Department of Community Services is dedicated to fostering a safe, attractive, inviting place to work and reside by providing meaningful community services and programs for all citizens. We value our diverse community while striving to preserve our rich and vibrant history.

The Community and Cultural Center is located at 17757 Main Street, adjacent to the Town Hall. We host a variety of programs at the Community Center throughout the year.  For more information on events contact the Director of Community Services.

Interested in adopting a Community Gardens plot in Ginn Park?

The Town of Dumfries Parks and Recreation Commission offers community garden plots in Ginn Park to Town residents. If you would like to adopt a plot, please click here to download the Community Garden Use application and the Community Garden Use Commitment Agreement. Once completed, please email to parksandrec@dumfriesva.gov or mail to Director of Community Services, 17755 Main Street, Dumfries, VA 22026.
