HOME OCCUPATION

DESCRIPTION                                   

In some residential zoning districts, an occupation can be conducted by the resident of the dwelling unit as a secondary use.  Home Occupations are permitted with a Home Occupancy Permit, which are processed by the Town of Dumfries Department of Planning & Community Development.  Additional information is available in the Home Occupation FAQs Flyer. APPLICATION INFORMATION

The Home Occupancy Permit Application and the Home Occupancy Permit for Family-Day-Care Application are located under the Document Center.  Completed Home Occupancy Permit Applications and fees can be submitted to Town Hall or mailed to the Town of Dumfries Department of Planning & Community Development at:
