The Holiday Season

- The Town will host its annual holiday Christmas Parade on December 10, 2022 starting at 10 AM.
- Town of Dumfries Christmas tree lighting will be bigger and better December 2, 2022 at Garrison Park.
- Route 1 Widening
- Bridge design is complete
- Design Plans have reached 60% completion after the completion of some value engineering
- Utility coordination has begin
- Right-of-Way Acquisition has started its initial phases of surveying along Fraley Blvd
- Super Cans
- Are you a new resident and need a new supercan? Are you a tenant living in a residence with no can? Are you a resident and your can is damaged? Please call the Department of Public Works to request a new can.
- Route 1 Highway name Change
- Route 1 - Jefferson Davis Hwy within Prince William County will now be known as Richmond Highway. Route 1 within the Town limits will remain as Fraley Boulevard. All business and residents not using the Fraley Blvd name will have to change their mailing address as Fraley Blvd. Main Street will remain unchanged.
